Lantah is a not-for-profit organization committed to achieving a better world through the use of science and technology. We do this by supporting the development and growth of the open-source Lantah Network, and using our surplus funds to support various causes and Lantah missions.
Why We Do
We believe in the power of decentralization to be an agent of social change. We are building a blockchain platform that will put people above profits and empower them to own and control their digital identities.
By eliminating any profit motives, Lantah is able to operate differently, it is able to truly put people first.
What We Do
Lantah aims to connect the globe by building and supporting the Lantah Network, an open-source system which enables anyone, anywhere to send or receive digital assets instantly, without the need for a bank or other financial institution.
At the foundation of the Lantah Network is a settlement layer which operates on a coin named Gram. In addition to powering trade within the network, it also functions as a temporary common-ground between other currencies: a universal translator of value.
