Gram is the native digital asset on Lantah’s Standard Ledger— an open-source and decentralized blockchain.
The Standard Ledger operates a consensus-based algorithm. Validator nodes come to agreement on the order and validity of Gram transactions through voting.
Once consensus on the outstanding transactions is reached, which happens approximately every 3-5 seconds, the payment settlement is final and irreversible.
Anyone can be a validator and all validators are able to freely choose which other nodes on the network to listen to, or ignore.
Built for global trade.
